Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens. Customer Review

When I first got my first camera it was a Canon model, very nice back then but there comes a time when you one  to replace old and not so perfect any more gadgets with more modern synchronized ones. I searched high and low for another suitable camera for my needs, though I strayed to other brands I finally chose another Canon model. I am sure during the making of the Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens silver to be exact they had individuals like me in mind.

With a bright viewfinder the SLR is by far one of the fastest cameras available, equipped with an 8MP. My first trial pictures where taken in the city park during lunchtime. I took several shots of just about everything and anything; with the smooth handling that it has I, lost track of time until it was evening. Back at home with the images ready for evaluation. I was rather disappointed in the SLR. The image quality even was not clear as compared with other older models. I’ve done a little bit of testing and discovered that this only happens when you set it at 5x7, but with a much better picture quality when set to 8x10 and above.

There are other better options to pick from, like the Nikon D70. My reason why I think the Nikon D70 is better option is because; with the same setting you will have a better picture quality. The D70 might be equipped with a 6MP; it still gives out better results than the SLR. Besides my own review of the SLR, many professional photographers complained about the Auto-Focus function, at the same time others had different opinions. 

My conclusion about the Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens it is still a best camera if viewed from a different perspective. In addition, if you are looking for something simple, compact and something that handles well. The SLR, realy.. realy the best bargain for you (I still use my SLR along side my older canon model and they do just about fine together).
